Altered

The altar is more than a piece of furniture—it’s a sacred space where lives are changed. From repentance and healing to empowerment and calling, the altar is where we encounter God’s presence and experience true transformation (Romans 12:1–2). Just as Noah, Elijah, and Gideon built altars to the Lord (Genesis 8:20; 1 Kings 18:30; Judges 6:24–25), we too are called to return to the altar, both in our churches and in our homes, and keep the fire of God’s Spirit burning (Leviticus 6:13).
