My Choice

Feb 1, 2026    Pastor Jesse Morrison

My Choice is a message about the everyday decisions that quietly shape our faith, our peace, and our future. Drawing from Hebrews 12:4–11, we’ll see how God uses discipline to form maturity—not to crush us, but to strengthen us. Then we’ll get practical: the choice of our words (Proverbs 12:18), the restraint of our tongue (James 1:26), the posture of our mind in anxiety (Philippians 4:6–8), and the decision to respond with listening and self-control instead of anger (James 1:19–20).

We’ll also look at choices that affect our direction—how we handle money and debt (Proverbs 22:7), how we walk wisely with our time and worship-filled habits (Ephesians 5:15–20), and how we train for godliness and set an example worth following (1 Timothy 4:7–16). This sermon is an invitation to stop living on autopilot and start choosing what leads to life, freedom, and spiritual strength.
